Motion 60XTi features a 1.25 x 2.4" Folded Motion XT Tweeter , a 6.5" Midrange and 2 x 8" Aluminum Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 400Hz and 2200Hz. On the other hand, the Triton Two+ features a " High-Velocity Folded Ribbon Tweeter , a 4.5" Midrange and 1 x 5" Polymer Woofer .
Frequency Response
Motion 60XTi has a frequency range of 35-25k Hz whereas Triton Two+ has a frequency range of 16-35k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 16Hz, the Triton Two+ can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the Motion 60XTi's min frequency of 35Hz.
Below graphs depict how these two speakers compare with the max, min and average values of the Min and Max Frequencies of other speakers in the Floor-standing class in our database.

Impedance and Sensitivity
Motion 60XTi is a 4 ohms speaker compared to the Triton Two+ which has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms. Lower impedance speakers, especially the ones that are rated at 4 ohms may put more pressure on the amplifier unit especially when played at high volume levels, so make sure the amp you pair with the Motion 60XTi can provide this impedance level.
These two speakers also have different sensitivity levels. Motion 60XTi sensitivity is rated at 94 dB and the Triton Two+'s is rated at 91 dB. This 3 dB difference makes the MartinLogan 60XTi a more sensitive speaker compared to GoldenEar Triton Two+, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power Range
Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. While using
an amplifier within this range ensures the nominal performance , inputting a power that is higher than the
max wattage can result in a damaged speaker.
Motion 60XTi can handle a max power of 500 watts RMS from the amp the whereas Motion 60XTi has a max power handling value of 400 watts RMS , 100 watts less than the Triton Two+.
Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker
compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters
such as Impedance, sensitivity and system efficiencies.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
Motion 60XTi features Custom 5-way bi-wire tool-less binding posts posts which make bi-amping or bi-wiring possible. Triton Two+ has a 5-Way post which doesn't feature bi-amping/bi-wiring.

Physical Specs
Size of a speaker can sometimes become an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare MartinLogan 60XTi's and GoldenEar Triton Two+'s external dimensions. MartinLogan 60XTi has external dimensions of 1174.0 x 231.0 x 396.0mm ( 46-3/16 x 9-1/16 x 15-9/16inch) whereas GoldenEar Triton Two+ has external dimensions of 1232.0 x 297.0 x 486.0mm ( 48-1/2 x 11-11/16 x 19-1/8inch) .
GoldenEar Triton Two+ is clearly the larger of the two speakers. Its body is 66mm wider, 58mm taller and 90mm deeper than MartinLogan 60XTi.
Base Surface Area Comparison
Base surface area of a loudspeaker may become a determining factor when the space in your room or desk is limited.
The base surface area of the MartinLogan 60XTi is approximately 914.8cm2 / 141.8inch2 and base area of the GoldenEar Triton Two+ is approximately 1443.4cm2 / 223.7inch2. The Motion 60XTi requires 37% less surface area than the Triton Two+ which gives it a small advantage on placement in tight spaces.
