Impedance and Sensitivity
Triton Two+ and 702 S2 have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Triton Two+ sensitivity is rated at 91 dB and the 702 S2's is at 90 dB. This 1 dB difference makes the GoldenEar Triton Two+ a more sensitive speaker compared to B&W 702 S2, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power Range
Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. While using an amplifier within this range ensures the nominal performance , inputting a power that is higher than the max wattage can result in a damaged speaker.
Triton Two+ can handle a max power of 500 watts RMS from the amp the whereas 702 S2 has a max power handling value of 300 watts RMS, 200 watts less than the Triton Two+.
Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker
compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters
such as Impedance, sensitivity and system efficiencies.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
702 S2 features Binding post posts which make bi-amping or bi-wiring possible. Triton Two+ has a 5-Way post which doesn't feature bi-amping/bi-wiring.
Physical Specs
Size of a speaker can sometimes become an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare GoldenEar Triton Two+'s and B&W 702 S2's external dimensions. GoldenEar Triton Two+ has external dimensions of 1232.0 x 297.0 x 486.0mm ( 48-1/2 x 11-11/16 x 19-1/8inch) whereas B&W 702 S2 has external dimensions of 1087.0 x 200.0 x 364.0mm ( 42.8-inch x 14-7/16-inch x 14.3-inch) .
GoldenEar Triton Two+ is clearly the larger of the two speakers. Its body is 97mm wider, 145mm taller and 122mm deeper than B&W 702 S2.
Base Surface Area Comparison
Base surface area of a loudspeaker may become a determining factor when the space in your room or desk is limited.
The base surface area of the GoldenEar Triton Two+ is approximately 1443.4cm2 / 223.7inch2 and base area of the B&W 702 S2 is approximately 728.0cm2 / 112.8inch2. The Triton Two+ requires 98% more surface area than the 702 S2 which gives it a small disadvantage on placement in tight spaces.
Weight Comparison The weight of a loudspeaker can become an important factor if you need to move and reposition the unit often. Weight of a speaker can also "sometimes" be an indicator of the rigidity of the enclosure and the quality of the internal components used. The GoldenEar Triton Two+ weighs 27.27kg / 60lbs and the B&W 702 S2 weighs 29.50kg / 64.9lbs. This makes the 702 S2 8% heavier than the Triton Two+.
Here is a comparison of how Triton Two+ and 702 S2's weights compare with the average, max and min weights in Passive Floor-standing class.
