707 S3 features a 1" Decoupled Carbon Dome Tweeter and 1 x 5" Continuum Woofer . On the other hand, the BRX features a " Folded Ribbon Tweeter and 1 x 6" Polypropylene Woofer .
Frequency Response
707 S3 has a frequency range of 50-28k Hz whereas BRX has a frequency range of 40-35k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 40Hz, the BRX can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the 707 S3's min frequency of 50Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
707 S3 and BRX have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. 707 S3 sensitivity is rated at 84 dB and the BRX's is at 90 dB. This 6 dB difference makes the GoldenEar BRX a more sensitive speaker compared to B&W 707 S3, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power Range
Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. While using
an amplifier within this range ensures the nominal performance , inputting a power that is higher than the
max wattage can result in a damaged speaker.
707 S3 can handle a max power of 250 watts RMS from the amp the whereas 707 S3 has a max power handling value of 100 watts RMS , 150 watts less than the BRX.
Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker
compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters
such as Impedance, sensitivity and system efficiencies.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
707 S3 features Binding post posts which make bi-amping or bi-wiring possible. BRX has a 5-way post which doesn't feature bi-amping/bi-wiring.

Cabinet Type and Port Position
Both 707 S3 and BRX have rear firing ports. Rear ported speakers generally need more room between the backside of the speaker and the wall compared to sealed and front/bottom ported speakers. Placing the speakers too close to the walls may cause the bass to sound boomy.

Physical Specs
Size of a speaker can sometimes become an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare B&W 707 S3's and GoldenEar BRX's external dimensions. B&W 707 S3 has external dimensions of 300.0 x 165.0 x 284.0mm ( 1.8-inch x 6.5-inch x 11.2-inch) whereas GoldenEar BRX has external dimensions of 308.0 x 207.0 x 313.0mm ( 12-1/8 x 8-1/8 x 12-5/16inch) .
GoldenEar BRX is clearly the larger of the two speakers. Its body is 42mm wider, 8mm taller and 29mm deeper than B&W 707 S3.
